FISCHER
SPOONER:

NEW TRUTH

Fischerspooner was a groundbreaking electroclash group known for its fusion of music, performance art, and high-concept visuals. Fischerspooner: New Truth (published by Damiani) is the only authorized photobook that chronicles the group’s evolution through archival imagery, personal artifacts, and behind-the-scenes ephemera.

Working closely with frontman Casey Spooner, I curated and arranged the imagery for the book—documenting costumes, props, and memorabilia from the band’s performances, selecting key visuals, and structuring the layout to create a compelling visual narrative. Copenhagen-based design studio Homework finished the design of the book with candid interviews with Casey, Warren Fischer, Klaus Biesenbach and Jeffrey Deitch, resulting in a beautifully immersive tribute to Fischerspooner’s legacy and impact on the worlds of both Pop Art and Pop Music.

Published by Damiani. Hardcover, 336 pages, 270 illustrations, ISBN: 9788862083287. Edited with introduction by Meredith Mowder. Text by Klaus Biesenbach, Gavin Brown, Jeffrey Deitch, Warren Fischer and Casey Spooner.
